It’s Time to Try the “Best Golf Course in the Caribbean” for 2024, Right Here in Provo, Turks & Caicos.
It is my distinct pleasure to announce that the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Course in Provo has been distinguished as the premier Caribbean Golf Course for 2024 on USA Today’s “10 Best” list.
For many of my discerning clients, the fusion of luxury travel and golf represents the perfect pairing, akin to bringing together a fine with exquisite cheese. I receive inquiries often from travellers to TCI, seeking a memorable experience on the links. As a luxury travel expert, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting some of the world’s most exquisite destinations, golf courses included. While my own game isn’t going to impress the club pro, I have cultivated a deep appreciation for the scenic beauty, elite club service, and the indulgence of post-game dining and libations at the celebrated 19th hole.
On a recent weekend, I had the privilege of playing an enjoyable round of 18 holes at The Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club, which is the only course in Providenciales. The ocean breeze was sweet as always, the course itself is wonderfully maintained and the greens and fairways truly match the images you see on their website. The course is dotted with strategic water hazards, presenting a balanced challenge, all within a 10-minute drive from the island’s luxury resorts and residences.
The clubhouse offers anything you need from clubs and balls to polo shirts and engaging conversation. The club’s professional is available for personalized instruction, complemented by a practice range. For those arriving without clubs, rest assured that every detail from tee time arrangements to equipment provision and dining reservations at the fine terrace restaurant will be handled with meticulous care.
Golf, in my view, offers a sanctuary of sorts. While it’s often a social adventure, it also provides moments of solitude in a beautiful environment. There’s also the appeal of having those special shots that make you think, “I can get better with a little practice”. Then again, continuous improvement is not only a hallmark of golf but also a hallmark in the pursuit of luxury.
